There are a variety of different styles and use of tall cupboard.  Pictured here are a few examples. 

These pictures show ‘Housekeepers cupboards’ which have been designed to house large pots and pans, cleaning materials and linen as well as one ornate, and one quite simple ‘Larder Cupboard’ or ‘Butlers Pantry’. The more ornate version has spice racks on the backs of the doors. Larder or Pantry cupboards are designed primarily to house food, and often open to reveal an internal worktop area.  Some Larder or Pantry cupboards also house other items such as cutlery and table linen so as well as spice racks, we often also add internal bread drawers and cutlery divides.
