This kitchen has the same rounded corners and moulding details as the previous 'period kitchen', but by adding large wooden knobs and curving the runs of the units in and out, it creates a totally different feel.
This kitchen had to provide everything; the wow factor created by the huge over mantle, a large food storage area created by the two pull out larders either side of the family's existing American fridge, the main preparation area in front of the window, enough space for the whole family to dine, somewhere to sit comfortably to chat to the cook or on the phone, somewhere to leave notes or messages for the family, somewhere to store household bills and paperwork and even somewhere for the dog to sleep. |
