It’s often the Aga or range cooker that provides the central point for the kitchen and so some clients want the Mantle Piece to have the wow factor. Larger mantle pieces can be produced with secrete doors in the front or the side of the panels. Clients with cookers such as the ‘AGA’ or ‘Everhot’ often want a hanging rail incorporated into the design. These pictures show a range of mantles we have produced, including some very simple designs, a mantle painted with a stone effect and a mantle piece which needed to come forward over the cooker to take the chimney, but has then been scalloped back to provide maximum worktop space.
